April has been an exciting month for Heurist, filled with significant milestones and developments. As we step into May, let’s take a moment to reflect on our achievements and the progress we’ve made.
Incentivized Testnet Launch
On April 1st, we launched our incentivized testnet, airdropping 5% of our token supply to miners based on 🦙 Llama and 🧚♀️Waifu points. Miners can use NVIDIA GPUs to earn rewards, with different rates for various AI models. Heurist Imaginaries NFTs can also boost mining rewards. We’re also introducing GPU rental options through our partners Exabits, Aethir, Nirmaan and ScalePod, and people can use permissionless GPU clouds like Akash, IO.net and Vast.ai.

Successful Zealy Campaign
Our Zealy campaign saw an overwhelming response, with 3,400 participants, hundreds of Twitter threads, and thousands of AI-generated images. Top users were awarded testnet points and OG roles. There will be exciting perks to be revealed soon for OG members as we onboard upcoming project partners.
Heurist SDK Launch
We launched the Heurist SDK, allowing TypeScript and JavaScript developers to easily integrate our generative AI capabilities into their projects. With secure authentication via API keys and access to a wide range of Stable Diffusion models and open source LLMs (including Meta’s cutting edge model Llama-3), developers can now harness the power of AI with just a few lines of code.
The SDK is available at NPM and Tea Protocol. As a decentralized package manager, Tea Protocol introduced staking as part of their testnet campaign. Projects with higher token staking amount will gain more exposure in the open source communities. Please stake in Heurist SDK if you have an active Tea Protocol testnet account.
NFT Governance Update
To reward our early supporters, we’re allocating 1.75% of Heurist tokens (17.5M total) to eligible NFT holders based on a pre-TGE snapshot. The 0.25% allocation for the Ecosystem Grant Program remains unchanged. This clears up questions around the NFT token airdrop allocation. The NFT collection will continue to play a fundamental role in Heurist ecosystem after the snapshot and mainnet launch.
Introducing Babel Bot
We’ve introduced Babel Bot for our Discord community, an AI-powered bot that translates English messages into multiple languages and also reversely, breaking down language barriers and fostering global engagement. Testnet Incident and Resolution
During the testnet mining, an incident occurred where some miners gained an unfair advantage by tweaking a config parameter. Our developers swiftly resolved the issue and compensated affected miners. This experience has helped us enhance the robustness and fairness of our mining system ahead of the mainnet launch.
